Riverbend Gardens Tomatoes are selected special for our Edmonton climate.
They are bush Tomatoes and can be planted in the ground or in a pot.

Roma - egg size 3oz. with tender skins. Bushy type plants are loaded with 30-40 high crimson fruit. Great taste and excellent for cooking. Can be planted in pots. Determinate.

Bush Beefsteak – 62 days – large 8 oz. in weight. Rich red with solid interiors. Indeterminate.

Sub Arctic Maxi – 48 days – Earliest large fruit, fresh market type for far north regions. Firm fruit. Compact determinate vines with good protective cover

Sweet hearts – 60 days – oval grape type – excellent flavor – brilliant red and sweet impressive yields all season. Does not drop ripe fruit. Indeterminate.

Tumbler – Cherry tomato – great for growing in pots- 48 days – determinate bushy plants and excellent for hanging baskets. Bright red sweet fruit.

Lunch Box Roma – 62 days -high quality -with the same tastebud as ultra sweet. Egg size fruit skins tender. Bushy type plants are loaded with 30-40 high crimson saladette fruit.

Pilgrim – Determinate, hybrid tomato that is compact in size and crack resistant. Matures in 68 days. At an average of 7 ounces, the Pilgrim's fruit are a bit larger than most other early season tomatoes but it also matures a few days later.

Early Girl - Besides their early maturity, Early Girls, are known for the taste, compact but useful size, abundant producing plants, and disease resistance. Indeterminate, 52 to 62 days. One of the most popular of the early season varieties.

Sweet Millions - Early maturing hybrid cherry type tomato. Clusters of tiny fruit are well rounded, deep red in colour with a delicious sweet flavour. Tolerance to cracking and good holding qualities. Indeterminate, matures in 60 days.

Golden Rave - Mini Roma-type tomatoes are golden yellow and have fantastic flavor. Just as meaty as a Roma, but with the sweet flavor of a grape tomato. Golden Rave is excellent for sauces and salsa, as well as eating fresh. Vigorous plants produce very large yields. Matures in 65 days. Indeterminate.

Sweet Gold - Fruits ripen to orange and have a very sweet, succulent flavor. Plants bear heavily, with hundreds and hundreds of fruits in a season. Fruits are born in large clusters of a dozen or more and grow to about 1/2 inch. 60-65 days to maturity. Indeterminate.

Determinate tomatoes bear their crop all at once, while indeterminate tomatoes bear fruit over the course of a season. Indeterminate varieties tend to grow longer vines and will require more support in terms of staking or caging over the course of a season.
