Local Partner Feature: Careit Urban Deli

Did you ever wonder if delis like you see on TV really exist?  THEY DO!  And right here in Edmonton!  Careit Urban Deli is a small neighbourhood deli that delivers the fresh flavourful food produced by farmers who care about quality and their environment.  Not only does Careit offer awesome deli fare, they also use locally sourced fresh ingredients for professionally prepared meals that are ready to take home and serve!  So you can pick up sandwich meat or a sandwich!  It’s a win win for happy customers in the Hamptons as well as in Crestwood where our CSA bags are ready for pick-up.  All it takes is a quick browse through their menu to realize how lucky we are to partner with Careit for a second year of CSA!

Special Announcement Friday

Did you know that the City of Edmonton has a Food Council?!  The Edmonton Food Council members will be announced on Friday.  The Council will be helping to implement the FRESH Food and Urban Agriculture Strategy.  Riverbend Gardens is proud to be part of urban agriculture and we look forward to what the Council will be doing in YEG!
