Garlic Chive Mashed Potatoes

Garlic chives may just best one of the best combo herbs on the planet. And do you know what’s better than garlic chives? Garlic chives in mashed Riverbend potatoes. Do yourself a favour and make this tonight. Recipe adapted from Epicurious


  • 2 pounds unpeeled potatoes
  • 10 tbsp butter
  • 3 garlic cloves minced
  • 3/4 cup chopped garlic chives
  • salt and pepper to taste


  1. Cook potatoes in a large pot of boiling, salted water until tender.
  2. Drain potatoes into colander.
  3. Melt butter in the same pot over medium heat.
  4. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant (about 30 seconds).
  5. Return potatoes to pot and add chives.
  6. Mash potatoes coarsely
